As we step into Season 2 of Living Well with Dee & Jenn, we’re beginning with a word that’s been clothing our spirits lately: splendor.
“…to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
the oil of joy instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.”
— Isaiah 61:3
This verse paints such a vivid picture of divine exchange…the holy wardrobe swap that happens when we surrender our brokenness to God and let Him dress us anew. In this episode, Jenn and I talk about what it means to be “Dressed for Splendor”. Not just outwardly, but from the inside out.
We unpack how God’s splendor isn’t about perfection or presentation, but about identity…being robed in His righteousness, wrapped in His love, and adorned with His joy. When life leaves ashes, God covers us with beauty. When heaviness threatens to settle, He places upon us garments of praise.
Whether you’re walking through a season of rebuilding, rediscovering your joy, or simply wanting to live more intentionally clothed in grace, this conversation will bless you.
